Kips Bay Palm Beach

The annual Kips Bay Palm Beach Showhouse is always a smorgasbord of creative inspiration, and this year was no exception. As designers came in from all over the country to dream up rooms in a modern villa in the SoSo district, Casa Branca was there to work with each team for artisanal finds and elevated finishing touches.

Nothing is more exhilarating to us than seeing designers and clients (you!) incorporating our careful curation of artists, local and global alike, into real world stories. There’s still time to visit the show house before it closes March 17, or drink in the fun here with our favorite rooms and designs- featuring Casa Branca, of course!

Our Italian glass Twist Tumblers in smoky amber were the perfect addition to Sara Story’s Shangri La Suite. The sexy speakeasy was inspired by Luis Barragan and his architectural forms, very Mexico-lounge-meets-Brazil. “We wanted our Renold Rodriguez cabinet to be a cabinet of sin, filled with cigarettes, pill sculptures- and our Casa Branca glasses. They were the perfect accessory to round out our design!”

DuVäl Design used our Cauliflower Coral to complete the simple, elegant tabletop for their Gentlemen’s Tea Lounge, a moody play on iconic Palm Beach pink and green aesthetic. “We made an effort to include design details that felt unexpected and unconventional for the area- the coral truly represents the tropical environment. Casa Branca has been generous and so knowledgeable, and being able to see things in the showroom is extremely helpful to find the best pieces.”

Okin’s touches on a semi-tropical, French seaside mood were perfectly accented by Small Blue Candlesticks and Frog Cachepot by Parisian ceramicist, Jean Roger, which we feel are the perfect grounding touches. “I really hope people can exhale when they enter our space and feel as if they're in someone's own home.” Casa Branca agrees!

“Our experience incorporating glassware and the chic bubble votives was fantastic- they were both the perfect shade of olive green that we needed. The Casa Branca team made it a pleasure, and we are very grateful!” The Parisian-chic lounge is an indoor and outdoor oasis where we’d be most happy to crush a cup of French wine…

In Jim Dove’s Kitchen, he considers the Casa Branca elements “the jewels of the room,” from the fabulous Monkey Lamp with Coral Shade from Jean Roger, to our brilliantly hued, French-made Otto and Specco Glass Tumblers in the bar room. Our favorite moment? Seeing our Palampore Petal and Giardino in Sky fabrics on Faux Bamboo Fretwork Chairs from our Atelier at the dining nook, and Jim’s use of proportion and architectural style, borrowed from Dorothy Draper and opulent Regency style, in the show stopping addition of our Serge Roche style plaster Torches. “Our visitors were absolutely delighted.”
