Introducing: New Classics
At Casa Branca, the classics are never static. Our sixth collection, New Classics continues our commitment to reinterpreting enduring design with fresh perspective. These are not reproduction, but revitalizations — creations shaped by a studied eye and an irrelevant spirit.
Our answer lies in the balance between structure and spontaneity. Classicism provides the framework—time-honored proportions, iconic motifs, recognizable forms. But it is color, texture, and point-of-view that carry them forward. This collection brings treillage to paper, softens paisleys for expanded uses, and reimagines block prints for light-filled rooms. These patterns are familiar, yet unexpected. Comforting, but never dull.
Each design is rooted in history, filtered through a modern lens and intended to create transportive interiors that are both exhilarating and deeply livable.
Whether you use Trellina to build architectural presence on your walls, layer Srinagar and its tailored stripe for dimension, or wrap a room i the fantastical flora of Pillement Madagascar, the goal is the same: to offer designers the tools to tell timeless stories with a new voice.
Trellina transforms classical treillage into sophisticated wallcovering that plays with depth, structure, and illusion. Using a traditional 19th-century engraved roller technique, this trompe l'oeil print mimics hand-painted woodwork with surprising realism. The pattern can frame windows, doors, or architectural features, creating a room-within-a-room effect. Whether used to introduce classical symmetry or a graphic mid-century edge, Trellina is a design tool for spatial storytelling.
Srinagar reinterprets traditional Indian paisley through a more vibrant and organic lens. A softer take on the classic paisley, Srinagar evokes the rythmic swirl of ancient bazaars and the raw poetry of natural forms. Inspired by a 9th-century textile and updated in rich, breathable linen, it is relaxed and full of quiet movement.
Srinagar Stripe, offers a refined, linear contrast — perfect for use as a wall border, cushion flange, or tailored upholstery accent. Together, they create layered, worldly interiors reminiscent of Mongiardino's eclectic genius.
Lodi, inspired by the wild serenity of its namesake garden in Delhi, is brought to life through the tactile process of 19th-century lino printing. Hand-carved and pressed onto handmade paper, this limited edition Lodi lino print offers a glimpse into the process behind creating our new paperweave textured wallpapers, Lodi Sisal and Lodi Madagascar.
This whimsical wallcovering is a contemporary ode to Jean-Baptiste Pillement, the 18th-century French master of exotic fantasy. Printed on textured paperweave grasscloth, Pillement Madagascar interprets his imaginative silhouettes—trumpeting blossoms, curling vines, drifting butterflies—through a modern lens. It offers the decorative richness of chinoiserie without the fuss, paring effortlessly with both contemporary furnishings and antique collections.
Our signature ticking stripe, reimagined in a new colorway.
Our signature linen stripe gets a Mediterranean refresh. Riviera introduces a breezy coastal blue to the beloved Branca Ticking, while Blanc & Riviera offers a crisp, versatile neutral. Classic, tailored, and endlessly adaptable—these new colorways are essentials for layered, sophisticated interiors
