Hand-Painted Highlights
The magic of hand-painted objects is undeniable—we love how each brushstroke captures the maker’s artistry and intention, bringing singularity to every piece. Delicate florals on glassware, intricate patterns on ceramics, even a modern LED lamp are all imbued with old-world charm rendered in tiny detail. From everyday tumblers to petite decorative dishes, each item carries its own character—never exactly the same, always special. We cherish the talent and hand craftsmanship that each artist brings to Casa Branca’s collections.

Margot Larkin
Margot Larkin is a storyteller. Her hand-painted imagery replaces prose, capturing the whimsical essence of an object and sparking imaginations. She has created magical pieces for Casa Branca since we opened our doors in 2020—faux bamboo lamps, ferns painted on fine glassware, and mushroom lamps featured in Elle Decor. Just like real flora, no two pieces are the same, and new ones keep popping up.
“For me, the most meaningful part of working together isn’t about ‘work’ at all. It’s about aligning with creative people where there’s deep respect, mutual admiration, inspiration, and trust. I’m so thankful for the beautiful relationship we have with Casa Branca—I love working with everyone on the incredible team and it makes all the difference in the world. My art isn’t a job; it’s an integral part of my life that keeps expanding. Having a true relationship, rather than just a work alliance, means everything to me.”
“After seeing Caroline Gidiere’s absolutely charming room at Kips Bay, with all the Casa Branca fabrics and wallpapers, it was a natural inspiration to paint a collection alongside those sublime hues and patterns. Palampore in Petal was the just the right scale for the sweet little lamps—I could perfectly envision how delightful they would look on the bookshelves papered with the same pattern. A custom lamp made to match your custom wallpaper? Perfect! And the glassware was Caroline’s calling cards of ‘The Ladies Club of Palm Beach’ theme: a simple palm frond with a pink chopstick font— so quintessentially Palm Beach.”

Claire Coles
UK-based artist Claire Cole’s intricate hand-painted works evoke the delicate beauty of Delft porcelain, rich tapestries, and impressionist paintings. With refined touches like gold leaf detailing and luxurious texture, her pieces are constantly inspired by the natural world—seashells, orchids, and botanical forms—alongside treasures discovered at institutions like London’s V&A Museum and Miami’s Pérez Art Museum. Annual childhood visits to Miami left a lasting impression, with its lush tropical flora that still shapes her artistic vision today.
