The LIVING Room
The new ASID 2024 Trends Outlook Report tells us that the lines of Live-Work-Play have blurred in every area of our homes, and professional lives and spaces. Design is focused more than ever on the real life we live inside of our rooms, not just the room’s traditionally designated use. We entertain and work more at home, we “live” more at work. The ASID report tells us incorporating informal "living rooms" into corporate offices is on the rise. As it should be, because the living room is the center of any well loved home!
Alessandra takes that idea literally. As she says, “Living rooms are rooms we live in. I can tell when I enter a house and a room has not been walked in. If I have done whatever I can to bring you into a room more often, to create a room that welcomes, then I have succeeded. The more a room is used, the more wonderful it feels!” There’s a million ways to use a living room. However you use yours, these are the perfect touches to bring that feeling of individuality, warmth, and welcome.
