Casa Branca x Nine Fair
We love nothing more than when art merges with objects we use every day, so what could be better than two of our favorite artisans coming together on a new collab? Margot Larkin, creator of our best selling, hand painted glassware and mushroom lamps, has designed and painted three limited edition backgammon boards for Nine Fair, who makes custom, heirloom quality boards for the most discerning gamers.
Nine Fair owner, Jessica Schumacher, handpaints her limited release boards with personalized motifs, and for this launch shared the honor with Margot, who embellished each piece with fanciful, dreamlike designs that might just distract you from the game…
vailable exclusively at Casa Branca, the three designs include a take on our a take on our Vimini, or “Wicker” pattern, which has graced Margot’s painted glassware for Casa Branca in the past, and an organic “malachite” pattern which some may remember adorned the glassware in Alessandra’s Bedroom showcase at Kips Bay Palm Beach 2020. Last but not least, the board with the mushroom motifs coordinates perfectly with our best selling mushroom lamps also by Margot Larkin. We’re thrilled to see these designs recreated in Margot’s hand once again.
