Enrique Martini Glasses

$250

The crystal Enrique glass with a red paste rim glass has a shape that resembles that of a martini glass but with a twist.

On a beautiful autumn evening, we were invited for dinner by our Spanish friend and very talented musician Enrique to his Palazzo on the Grand Canal in Venice. There, after a very special piano performance where he played Chopin’s Nocturnes, a lovely iced Prosecco was served in glasses whose shape Giberto had never seen before. It looked like a Martini Glass, yet with a twist.

Inspired by that object and by the charming evening, Giberto designed a new Martini glass. Playing with transparency and hues, he came up with two variations of colors: crystal and fumè. The final creations were, naturally, named Enrique.

MEET THE MAKER

giberto venezia

Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga's life is inseparable from Venice, the city that shaped his sensibility and artistic vision. His most vivid childhood memories unfold in the halls of Palazzo Papadopoli, surrounded by Tiepolo's frescoes and the warmth of family life. It was here that his passion for beautiful objects first took hold, along with a desire to reinterpret them through contemporary design. Married to Bianca di Savoia Aosta and father of five, Giberto still oversees the details of the home himself, from fabrics to fragrance—"part of my maternal heritage," he says, "a gift that shaped the way I see the world." Today, Giberto Venezia is a celebrated name in Venetian design and Murano glass, born of his lifelong passion for travel and collaborations with master glassmakers and Italian artisans. Rooted in the traditions of Venetian craftsmanship, the brand celebrates timeless elegance and the artistry of handmade objects.
