All prints are named for sea shells or sea flora found near the beaches in Palm Beach. The collection is inspired by a vintage postcard and by the crisp blue sky and bright light found on the perfect day along Florida’s coast line.

As a girl from the Midwest, I long for those days for most of the year so I love to surround myself with art that reminds me of those times at the beach with my family and friends. It ignites a little happy in me as I pass by the work in my own home and studio - so I’m thrilled with this little collection for Casa Branca. - Katie Brickman
Katie created these limited edition prints exclusively for Casa Branca’s store in Palm Beach.  Limited edition of 5.  Signed by the artist and individually wrapped in cellophane envelope with matte back.

Meet the Maker

Katie, a Midwesterner through and through, was born in Ohio, raised in Illinois, and educated at the Cranbrook Kingswood boarding school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Attending Cranbrook, designed by the famed architect Eliel Saarinen, had a formative influence on her appreciation for art and design. So much so, that after raising her two children in Lake Forest, she sat down in her bright yellow dining room and began to create art of her own. While painting primarily with acrylic on whitewashed wood board, Katie enjoys experimenting with canvases of antique book pages, lampshades, and even vintage men’s shirts from Brooks Brothers.
